A batch of Yak-130 operational trainers has been manufactured in the network of the contract with Syria. The jets will be delivered to the customer after making the corresponding policy decision, RIA Novosti reports. It was stated by a source close to Russian delegation at Le Bourget air show.

"Irkut Corporation has already manufactured these Yak-130 operational trainers in accordance with the contract. They are stationed at the manufacturer’s site and awaiting for the policy decision", — he said.

According to him, these are just airframes yet. "In case of making a positive decision the plant’s specialists will install the engines and avionics. After that the jets will be delivered to the customer", — the source said.
