Russia and Iraq signed a contract for delivery of Ka-52 helicopters

Rosoboronexport signed the first export contract for delivery of Ka-52 helicopters with Iraq, RIA Novosti reports with reference to a source close to the company’s delegation at Paris Air Show.

"The contract was signed in the network of an agreement signed in 2012", — the source explained. A contract between Iraq and Russia for procurement of weapons and military equipment to the amount of $4.3 billion was signed in 2012.

He noted that in fact it is the first contract signed in the network of this agreement.
