Russia and USA signed contract for delivery of helicopters to Afghanistan

Russia and USA signed contract for delivery of “Mi” helicopters to Afghanistan, Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) reports.

«Rosoboronexport and the US Department of the Army have signed the contract for delivery of “Mi” helicopters to Afghanistan in the network of joint anti-terrorism effort. The contract has been signed at Paris Air Show», - said in the statement.

The parties expressed their hope for expansion of their partnership in the area of military-technical cooperation. According to FSMTC, Russia is pursuing the policy of ensuring the international safety and Russian organizations are ready for cooperation in this area.
