The passenger turnover of UTair Aviation increased by 16% during 5 months of 2013

The passenger turnover of UTair Group was 6654978,24 thousand passenger-kilometers during the period from January to May 2013 (+15.9% as compared to the same period of last year), the carrier’s press-service reports.

"The fleet of UTair’s aircraft (jets and turboprops) has transported 3478145 passengers (+13,2%); total duration of flights performed by the fleet was 117 915 hours. The aircraft have transported 11445,35 tons of cargo (+12.1%). The passenger load factor was 73.8% (+3.6% as compared to the same period of 2012)", - UTair explained.

The increase of passenger load factor and passenger traffic demonstrates the results of UTair’s work in the area of improving operating efficiency and creating the competitive product combining the best practices of foreign carriers: comfort, high quality of service and reasonable prices, the company noted.

The total duration of flights performed by UTair’s helicopters in January-May 2013 was 55487 hours. The helicopters have transported 50 179,46 tons of cargo (+18,5%) and 284 465 passengers. The duration of flights on domestic routes increased by 2,9%. This fact confirms the efficiency of the policy for increasing the number of orders on domestic market, the press-service noted.
