Aeroexpress intends to decrease the headway between consecutive trains in Moscow to 15 minutes over the next few years, RBC reports. It was stated by the company’s CEO, Alexey Krivoruchko. We remind you that the company’s trains go between airports of the Moscow Air Cluster and the capital’s railway stations.

At present the headway between consecutive trains is 30 minutes. We remind you that Aeroexpress signed a contract with Stadler (Switzerland) for delivery of double-deck carriages. The value of this contract is about €650 million. The company explained that the necessity of replacing the current fleet with more capacious railway carriages is caused by the constant growth of the airports’ passenger traffic.
