The possibility of removal of duties on temporarily imported civil aircraft with a curb weight of over 120 tons will be considered at the 16th meeting of Eurasian Economic Commission held on June 4th.
«Collegium of Eurasian Economic Commission decided to approve the draft decision of the Council of Eurasian Economic Commission «About alteration of some decisions of Customs Union Commission in terms of temporarily imported civil aircraft with a curb weight of over 120 tons» and introduce it at the meeting of Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC)», - said in the materials issued by the EEC.
The Council of EEC decided to expand the list of goods, which may be temporarily imported free of duties and taxes. The list is specified in the decision of Customs Union Commission №331 “On the list of goods, which may be temporarily imported free of duties and taxes, terms of duty-free import and the time limits for such import” approved on June 18th 2010. Article 31 of the newdocument says: «31. Civil aircraft with a curb weight of over 120 tons (code 8802 40 00 9 1 ТN VED ТS). Complete removal of duties and taxes on the civil aircraft with a curb weight of over 120 tons for the period of their importation». The duties may be removed for a period of 10 years.
In case of approving the decision it will come into effect 30 days after its official publication, said in the documents.
