The state testing of Tu-214OS aircraft was started in Russia

The state testing of Tu-214OS surveillance aircraft manufactured in the network of The Treaty on Open Skies was started in Russia, press-service of United Aircraft Corporation reports.

33 flights should be performed in the network of the jet’s state testing. After that Tu-214OS will perform acceptance flights and then it will be prepared for delivery to a customer.

The flight development and certification testing of Tu-214OS aircraft was performed by Kazan Aviation Production Association (KAPO). KAPO also tested the jet’s surveillance equipment, said in the statement.

The second Tu-214OS aircraft is being assembled by KAPO. It will be delivered to the enterprise’s flight test center soon.
