The revenues of VASO increased almost four times in 2012

The revenues of Voronezh Aircraft Production Association (VASO) increased almost four times in 2012 as compared to 2011 and reached 8,8 billion rubles, IA Abireg reports.

The total revenues increased due to increase of revenues from sales of aircraft. In particular, the company was able to earn 3.1 billion rubles from selling An-148 jets (this indicator increased three times as compared to 2011).

We remind you that VASO delivered three aircraft of the type to Angara Airlines in 2012. The enterprise has also earned 3.24 billion rubles and 1.03 billion rubles from selling Il-96-300 and Il-96-400T aircraft respectively. The sales of such jets were not stipulated in the company’s accounting reports for 2011. The revenues from provision of maintenance services remained almost the same (less than 200 million rubles). The revenues from production of components was 946 million rubles (-200 million rubles as compared to previous year).

The cost of sales increased almost three times due to increase of aircraft sales and reached 9,7 billion rubles.

At that the enterprise continued to bear losses – the losses were 1.2 billion rubles in 2012 (slightly lower than the losses in 2011).
