Russian airlines have demonstrated a substantial growth of the passenger traffic in the first quarter of 2013 as compared to the last year, Business-TASS reports with reference to the president of Transport Clearing House (TCH), Sergey Ilyichev.
"This is current data, - he admitted. – Judging by the indicators demonstrated in March, the final figures will be even more impressive".
According to the available information, the passenger traffic of Russian airlines increased by 17% (+15.7 million passengers), - the head of TCH noted. – At that over 93% of the total passenger traffic is accounted for Russia’s top-20 carriers".
At the same time the passenger load factor increased by 2,9% and the cargo load factor – by 2,5%.
