Progress M-19M cargo spacecraft was placed into planned orbit

Soyuz-U carrier rocket with Progress M-19M cargo spacecraft was launched from Baikonur cosmodrome, press-service of the Federal Space Agency reports.

«Soyuz-U launch vehicle with Progress M-19M cargo spacecraft was launched from Baikonur cosmodrome at 14.12 Moscow time on April 24th 2013», - the Federal Space Agency reported. – In accordance with the flight sequence the spacecraft separated from the third stage of the carrier rocket and then it was placed into planned orbit».

The docking of Progress M-19M cargo spacecraft with ISS is scheduled for April 26th. The spacecraft will deliver about 2.5 tons of cargo to the ISS, including scientific equipment, components for the station, fuel, food, water and air for the astronauts, said in the statement.
