S7 Airlines, member of oneworld® alliance, won the Wings of Russia Award – 2012 in the category “Best Airline Website”. The winner was selected following the results of online voting.

S7 Airlines was the Russia’s first carrier to launch online ticket sales through its website, to start using the electronic tickets, to offer online check-in service, to implement “Mobile boarding pass” service, to develop the special application for iPhone and mobile version of the website. Besides purchasing a ticket, you may also book a room in a hotel, rent a car and purchase travel insurance using www.s7.ru website.

S7 Airlines has won the Wings of Russia Award for the third straight time. Following the results of 2011 S7 Airlines won the Wings of Russia Award in the category “Russian Airline of the Year – IT-technologies”. In 2010 the carrier won the award in “Business project in the Russian Civil Aviation” category.

  The new Superjet100 (RA-89140) has been handed over to Red Wings. This is the 200th aircraft of this type produced by the United Aircraft Corporation and the first SSJ leased to the airline from PSB Leasing. The term of the contract is 20 years. Another 3 aircraft of this type were received by the airline this year from STLC. For the aircraft, an inverse version of the airline's livery was chosen (not the standard white and red, but red and white). Now the airline's fleet has 2 aircraft painted in such manner, the second one is A320.
