Russian Helicopters Holding Company, one of the world’s leading helicopter manufacturers, including a number of innovative and widely operated models, presented its consolidated and audited financial results of 2012 in accordance with IFRS.
“The helicopter deliveries reached 290 units (+10.7% as compared to the previous year), the firm order backlog totaled 817 helicopters as of December 31st 2012, the company’s revenues increased to 125.7 billion rubles (+21%), EBITDA increased to 20.8 billion rubles (+16.0%), EBITDA margin reached 16.6%. The holding’s profit increased to 9.4 billion rubles (+35.2%)”, - said in the company’s statement.
CEO of Russian Helicopters, Dmitry Petrov, said: “Last year our company demonstrated steady growth and achieved its goals. We continued to increase deliveries to our customers, which is another testament to growth of demand for our helicopters at the global market - we delivered 290 helicopters of nine different types to our customers from 19 countries of the world in 2012 (+10.7% as compared to the previous year). We maintained the high level of our firm order backlog, which totaled 817 helicopters as of December 31st 2012. Its total value exceeded 350 billion rubles”.
“This year we will continue to focus on key strategic areas: upgrade and diversification of our product line, development of after-sales service network and increase of operation efficiency. We will do our best to ensure further growth of our company and strengthen its positions at the global market”, - Dmitry Petrov noted.
According to Russian Helicopters Holding Company, the company’s consolidated revenues were 125.7 billion rubles in 2012 (+21.0% as compared to 2011). This was driven mostly by increase of helicopter deliveries by 10.7%. Revenues from helicopter sales totaled 99.0 billion rubles. Revenues from services and after-sales support reached 18.4 billion rubles. The cost of production increased to 79.9 billion rubles (+ 26.3% as compared to 2011). Operating expenses reached 30.6 billion rubles (+18.2%). The company’s profit was 9.4 billion rubles in 2012 (+35.2%).
The Holding delivered 290 helicopters in 2012 (+28 helicopters or 10.7% as compared to 2011). The company delivered a total of nine types of helicopters to customers from 19 countries of the world in 2012. As of the end of 2012 its firm order backlog reached 817 units with a total value of over 359.9 billion rubles. It stands to mention that the company signed a number of large contracts with India, China and Brazil in 2012. The delivery plan for 2013 is 100% secured with firm orders.
