Aeroflot has put into service the FFS for Airbus A330 aircraft (the first one in Russia) made by CAE Inc. (Canada). FFS A330 byСАЕ is equipped with the state-of-the-art six-degree-of freedom (6-DOF) electrical motion system and highly-realistic visual display system, which meet all the international requirements, including EASA – JAR FSTD A level «D» standard, the carrier’s press-service reports.
“At present Aeroflot is operating the following simulators: FFS A320 Series 5000, FFS A320 Series 7000, FFS IL 96-300; CPTs: FNPT DA-42, MFTD A320, CHT IL 96-300 and training devices for emergency-rescue training for A319/320/321, A330, B767, SSJ-100 and Il-96-300 aircraft. It also has special trainer for extinguishing the real fire and training pool", - Aeroflot noted.
The following simulators will be acquired in the near term: FFS MS-21, FFS A350 and FFS B787. The acceptance of FFS SSJ-100 is being completed.
«Putting into operation the first FFS А330 in Russia will significantly improve the quality of training of Aeroflot’s flight crews and personnel of other Russian airlines operating A330 aircraft», - the press-service explained.
