The governor of Ulyanovsk Region, Sergey Morozov, commented on construction of plant of AeroComposit for production of composite parts, press-service of the governor and government of Ulyanovsk Region reports.

The governor visited the factory located at the territory of Aviastar-SP on March 21st. As reported by the president of AeroComposit, Anatoly Gaidanski, the first stage of reconstruction of the production building will be completed soon. The installation of auxiliary equipment is underway. «The AeroComposit’s plant is the unique enterprise, the only one is Russia. Its entry into service will boost the development of aircraft industry in Ulyanovsk Region and Russia», - Sergey Morozov said.

«The installation of three production units will be started by April. The production process is being optimized. This testing is being carried in order to confirm the compliance with the production method and check its efficiency in the network of manufacturing cycle. The trial production will be manufactured in mid-2013 and the first serial wing for MS-21 – in July 2014», - Anatoly Gaidanski noted.

We remind you that the cooperation agreement on implementation of investment project “Construction of the plant for production of composite components” in Ulyanovsk Region was signed by the government of the Region, United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) and AeroComposit on February 15th 2010. In the network of the agreement the enterprise, which meets all the requirements of international standards, will be established. It will be manufacturing components made of polymer composites: center section panels, spars and integral panels of outer wing, on behalf of MS-21 program and other advanced projects of UAC.

As noted by the governor, 250 new jobs have already been created by the enterprise. After reaching the planned output – 100 wings per year, the number of enterprise’s employees will reach 800 ones, the press-service explained.
