Following the results of January 2013 the passenger traffic of Domodedovo airport was 2 million passengers (+13.3% as compared to the same period of 2012), the airport’s press-service reports.
 
The number of takeoff and landing operations was 19000 in January 2013 (+7.7%).

Domodedovo serviced  806 000 passengers  on domestic airlines (+15.1% as compared to January 2012).  The following destinations contributed to the growth of this indicator: Chelyabinsk, Rostov-on-Don, Mineralnie Vodi, St. Petersburg and Saratov. The passenger traffic on these destinations was  165  thousand passengers (+28.7%).

The airport serviced  1 288 thousand  passengers  on international airlines in January 2013 (+12,3% as compared to the same period of 2012). The greatest growth has been recorded on the following destinations: Hurghada, Sharm el-Sheikh, Kiev, Minsk and Munich. The passenger traffic on these destinations was 232 000 passengers in January 2013 (+54.4%).
 
The cargo traffic of Domodedovo increased by 13.2% in January 2013 and reached 11 965 tons.
