United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) increased the share of civil aircraft sales three times in 2012, UAC’s press-service reports. The share of civil aircraft sales exceeded 10% of the total revenues of UAC for the first time in 2012.
UAC has fully fulfilled the state defense order in 2012 and increased the deliveries of aircraft to the Ministry of Defense two times. The UAC’s revenues have almost reached 180 billion rubles (+10% as compared to 2011), said in the statement.
UAC’s Board of Directors has approved the proposal on forming the consolidated state order for civil and transport aircraft for the period until 2020. The UAC’s strategy for 2013-2015 assumes further increase of revenues and deliveries. The share of civil aircraft sales should reach 20% of UAC’s revenues by 2015.
The Board of Directors stated that UAC’s top-priority objectives for 2013 are: fulfillment of state defense order and execution of the key development and production programs in the area of military, civil and transport aircraft.
UAC intends to continue the consolidation of its assets in the area of strategic and special operations aviation and start the consolidation of its assets in the area of transport aviation. In addition to the completed reorganization of assets of Sukhoi Holding Company it is planned to continue consolidation of Sokol assets and merger it into RAC MiG, said in the UAC’s statement.
