Russkie Vertoletnye Sistemi (stands for Russian Helicopter Systems), RVS Aviation Training Center and Russian Helicopters Holding Company announced the creation of first helicopter squadron formed by female pilots. The squadron was named “Colibri”, Russkie Vertoletnye Sistemi reports.

«The Colibri squadron is formed by 5 beautiful and active girls, who got into aviation. The squadron comprises both professional world-class pilots and amateurs – students studying at the RVS Aviation Training Center. Each girl has her own values, hobbies and her own story of becoming a helicopter pilot. However they are knit together by love for the helicopters and freedom», - the company’s press-service noted.

The title sponsor of Colibri squadron is Russian Helicopters Holding Company.
