Russia will deliver 12 Sukhoi SuperJet 100 aircraft to Indonesia in 2013

Russia will deliver 12 Sukhoi SuperJet 100 aircraft (total value of the jets is about $380 million) to Indonesia in 2013, ITAR-TASS reports.

Russian Ambassador to Indonesia, Mikhail Galuzin, noted that Sky Aviation will take delivery of the aircraft in the network of the contract signed by the carrier and Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC).

Indonesia validated the type certificate of Sukhoi SuperJet 100 in late November 2012. "The validation process is based upon studying the engineering aspects of the jet’s production", - official representative of the Indonesian Ministry of Transport, Bambang Ervan, noted. "Thelinermeetsalltheinternationalstandards", - hesaid. As a result the Russian liner was certified in the first country of South-East Asia, the analysts say.

The first Sukhoi SuperJet 100 was delivered to Sky Aviation in December 2012. SCAC and Sky Aviation have signed theDelivery & Acceptance certificate of the first Sukhoi SuperJet 100 in Ulyanovsk.
