The fourth Interjet’s Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ 100) aircraft landed in Mexico and was handed over to the carrier on December 23rd 2013, press-service of Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC) reports.
Upon completion of its customization by SuperJet International, the aircraft (MNS 95036) performed ferry flight from Venice Marco Polo airport to Interjet’s base airport located in Toluca (Mexico). The jet performed its ferry flight with intermediate stops in Keflyavik (Iceland) and Bangor (Maine, USA). The jet performed non-stop flight from Bangor to Toluca confirming its outstanding aircraft performance.

SCAC also noted that during the period from September 18th to November 30th 2013 the first three Interjet’s SSJ100s had 99% dispatch reliability and an average daily utilization of 9 flight hours (maximum utilization - 11 flight hours).
According to the company’s press-service, three SSJ100 jets operated by Interjet have performed 1399 flights and amassed a total of 1438 flight hours. The carrier operates the jets on 7 domestic routes: Mexico City, Torreon, Aguascalientes, Campeche, Minatitlan, Zacatecas and Mazatlan. The fifth and the sixth aircraft to be delivered to Interjet are undergoing customization at SuperJet International’s enterprise in Italy.
We remind you that Interjet has placed an order for 20 SSJ100 jets plus 10 options. The aircraft have a passenger capacity of 93 seats (with a seat pitch of 34’). The jet’s exclusive and comfortable interior was designed by Italian Company Pininfarina.
