The National Reserve Bank (NRB, founded by Alexander Lebedev) increased its stake in Ilyushin Finance & Co (IFC) leasing company from 1,65% to 5,44%, said in the bank’s statement. It was reported by ITAR-TASS.
The stake was increased by means of purchasing the shares of IFC. NRB was authorized to dispose this block of shares on December 10th 2013.
The Lebedev’s companies previously owned about 17,5% of IFC’s shares. After selling Red Wings (the airline was previously owned by Lebedev), which operated the aircraft leased from IFC, NRB started to withdraw its money from the capital of IFC.
In particular, NRB decreased its stake in IFC in late September 2013 from 6,896% to 1,649%.
United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) owns 49,4% of IFC shares, VEB-Capital owns another 21,39% and the CEO of IFC, Alexander Rubtsov, owns 3,14% of the company’s shares.
