Russian officials are discussing the possibility of establishing a new integrated company responsible for development and production of UAVs, Interfax reports with reference to a source close to the military-industrial sector.

"In case of approval of this initiative the new company, let’s name it Bespilotprom, may be established on the basis of one of the state-owned corporations. Some state-owned industrial assets involved in development and production of advanced UAVs will be merged into the corporation", - the source said.

The primary objective of this corporation will be to “coordinate work on projects for development of advanced UAVs financed by Russian Federation”.
