KBKhA completed the altitude-chamber tests of RD0146D engine

The specialists of Konstruktorskoye Byuro Khimavtomatiki (KBKhA) have successfully completed the firing tests under condition of high altitude (altitude-chamber tests) of RD0146D engine using their own test rig, the company’s press-service reports.

«A system intended for simulating the normal operating conditions of the oxygen-hydrogen engine RD0146D engine was developed by KBKhA in cooperation with the leading enterprises of the Russian aerospace industry», - said in the statement.

The leading specialists of NiTs RKP, CIAM named after P.I. Baranov, Keldysh Center and NPP Molniya took part in the testing, KBKhA noted.
