The first Su-30SM fighters were delivered to the air base of Western Military District (WMD) located in Zabaykalsky Krai, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the WMD’s press-service.

"The air base located in Zabaykalsky Krai took delivery of first three “4++”-generation Su-30SM fighters. The deliveries will be completed this year", — WMD reports.
The air base’s pilots have already passed retraining for piloting the new jets in special training centers of the air forces and they are ready to attain their combat tasks, WMD noted.

Su-30SM is the super-maneuverable multi-role two-seat fighter. It is fitted with advanced radar and radio communication systems. It is capable of using state-of-the-art high-precision weapons.
