The Board of Directors of Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC) approved the ownership interest of SCAC in another legal entity - Air Finance Limited, ITAR-TASS reports with reference to SCAC.
The decision on purchase of Air Finance Limited’s shares was taken by the Board of Directors of SCAC on October 11th 2013, the company noted. This refers to establishment of a leasing subsidiary responsible for financing the deliveries of aircraft to South-East Asia.
SCAC is a part of United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) via Sukhoi Holding Company, which owns 75% of SCAC’s shares. World’s Wing SA ("subsidiary" of Alenia Aermacchi, part of Finmeccanica) owns the rest 25% of SCAC’s shares.
SCAC has a backlog of 200 Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft.
