Sukhoi Holding Company delivered another batch of Su-34 bombers to Russian air forces, the company’s press-service reports.

The delivery ceremony was held at the site of Novosibirsk Aviation Plant named after V.P. Chkalov (part of Sukhoi Holding Company). «The jets took off from the airfield of NAZ and headed to their home base», - the press-service said. We remind you that Russian air forces took delivery of Su-34 jets in the network of the State Defense Procurement in May and June 2013.

«NAZ is doing its best to fulfill the state order for 2013. The leadership of the enterprise noted that they are satisfied with the work pace and confident that the contracts will be implemented on time. The contracts for delivery of Su-34 jets to the Ministry of Defense signed in 2008 and 2010 ensured the NAZ’s production (along with its suppliers) for years to come. These are the largest contracts for delivery of combat aircraft included in the State Arms Program for 2011-2020. The implementation of these contracts will help replace Su-24 bombers. Su-34s manufactured by NAZ are successfully operated by Russian air forces», - Sukhoi Company noted.
