Aviacor delivered another An-140 to Russian Ministry of Defense

Another An-140-100 turboprop (RA-41255) was handed over to acceptance commission on October 11th 2013 at the airfield of Samara-based Aviacor plant. The jet will be operated by the Ministry of Defense of Russian Federation. The customer’s representatives and CEO of Aviacor, Alexey Gusev, took part in the handover ceremony, the enterprise noted.

"The new aircraft will be operated by the Russian air forces thus expanding its presence in the fleet of security services. Previously the aircraft of the type were delivered to Russian navy", - the press-service explained.

According to the representatives of the Ministry of Defense, this aircraft outmatches the currently operated vehicles in terms of performance and technical characteristics, in particular, capacity, range, efficiency, etc.
