The first An-148-100EA aircraft ordered by Rossiya special aircraft division has arrived at Vnukovo airport on January 18^th, Podrobnosti reports.

An-148-100EA aircraft (tail number RA-61716, serial number 42-03) was manufactured by Voronezh Aircraft Manufacturing Company (VASO). The jet performed its maiden flight on November 16^th 2012. The aircraft was delivered to Rossiya special aircraft division on December 30^th 2012. It performed ferry flight from Voronezh to Sheremetyevo on January 17^th.

It is the first out of two An-148-100EA aircraft ordered by Rossiya special aircraft division. The jets have a special “Salon” configuration. The corresponding contract was signed by the Department of Presidential Affairs and United Aircraft Corporation on December 5^th 2011 (its total value is assessed at 2.1 billion rubles).

The second ordered jet (tail number RA-61718, serial number42-05) is being assembled by VASO. According to the contract it should be delivered to the customer in December 2013.

An-148 performed its first revenue flight on June 2^nd 2009. At present 14 jets of the family are operated by 4 airlines on 70 domestic routes in Russia and Ukraine. The jets are performing flights to 65 cities of 37 countries.

The monthly flight time of some An-148s has exceeded 400 hours, while the average monthly flight time has reached 320 hours. The daily flight time of An-148 aircraft has reached 18 hours. An-148 jets have transported over 1.5 million passengers.
