Transaero has finalized the results of 8 months of 2012. They give testimony to substantial development of the company and significant growth of its operational indicators, the airline reports. AEX.ru

“Transaero’s passenger turnover during period from January to August 2012 was 27 114 257,82 thousand passenger-kilometers (+ 26,2% as compared to 8 months of 2011). The number of transported passengers was 6 916 827 (+ 24%). 39 807,05 tons of cargo have been transported during 8 months (+ 29,6%).
The cargo turnover was 2 668 140,79 thousand ton-kilometers (+ 26,5% as compared to 8 months of 2011)”, - the airline explained.

Transaero has transported 1 327 681 passengers in August. It is the highest monthly passenger traffic in the airline’s history. Transaero started providing its passengers with in-flight broadband internet access and mobile services in August.

We remind you that Transaero was elected the best airline of Eastern Europe in 2012. It was awarded with World Airline Awards prize by Skytrax. The company also won the prize in the Airline Market Leadership category of ATW Airline Industry Achievement Awards in 2012.
