The "Superholding" will be created on the basis of Tactical Missiles Corporation and NPO Mashinostroyenia. Its main objective is assimilation of hypersonic technologies, RIA Novosti reports with reference to vice-premier, Dmitry Rogozin.

"At the first stage this refers to a large “Superholding” based on Tactical Missiles Corporation and NPO Mashinostroyenia", - Rogozin said.

According to him, this question was being discussed for at least six months. "We have found an acceptable solution connected with the establishment of “Superholding”. The basic concept (assimilation of hypersonic technologies) is specified in the draft decision", - the official noted. At the same time he acknowledged that NPO Mashinostroyenia has more relevance to the Federal Space Agency, than to the Ministry of Defense. "But we are heading towards these large structures, which have an alike specialization and vast international links", - vice-premier said.

In particular, the official noted that NPO Mashinostroyenia has long-standing relations with Indian partners from the Bramos joint venture (specializes on development and production of different type of missiles).

According to Rogozin, these enterprises are able to solve problems in the area of assimilation of hypersonic technologies.

Concerning further stages of enterprises’ development, Rogozin said that the government will have to think about it. "This is not just integration of ideas and industrial capacities. We will have to think about testing area in future... We believe that such kind of unification (not merger) will help speed up the work in the area of hypersonic technologies", - vice-premier said.
