Russian Helicopters Holding Company and CAE Inc., Canadian manufacturer of flight simulators, have signed a memorandum of understanding at ILA 2012 international show aimed at evaluating the economic feasibility of implementation of some co-projects in a number of promising areas, press-service of Russian Helicopters reports. One of these projects is development of flight simulators and pilot training programs for students of the Helicopter Academy established in spring 2012 at the National Helicopter Building Centre in Tomilino, Moscow Region.

“Another promising area is the use of CAE’s simulators and training facilities for training of pilots and maintenance personnel for operators of Russian helicopters. The parties are also considering the possibility of joint establishing of training centers in Russia and other countries”, - the company noted.

The signing of this document promotes the mutually beneficial cooperation. Russian Helicopters may gain access to a number of CAE’s technologies, and may have the opportunity to use its extensive network of training centers in order to train operators of Russian helicopters all over the world. While the Canadian partners will have the opportunity to promote their products on the global market of Russian-built helicopters, Russian Helicopters stated.

ILA 2012 is held on September 11th-16th at Berlin ExpoCenter Airport at Schönefeld. The Russian Helicopters stand can be found at Booth 1305 in Pavilion 1.
