AVIA.RU website turns 15 on August 28th

Russian aviation website AVIA.RU turned 15 years on August 28th 2012. The first news item was published at www.avia.ru website on August 28th 1997.

Up until that time there were no such aviation website in Russia and the team of developers suggested a concept of independent fast-growing portal. And so the Russian aviation website AVIA.RU was born.

In the preceding years AVIA.RU became one of the most respected, popular and largest sources of aviation information in Russia and CIS Region; it is the work tool of top-management and employees of aviation industry.

AVIA.RU became the real people’s project, which belongs to all us: employees and lovers of aviation from different countries - all the Russian-speaking inhabitants of virtual space.
