Lufthansa Consulting will work out a development strategy for Baikal airport

The administration of Baikal airport enlisted the services of Lufthansa Consulting in order to work out the airport’s development strategy for the next 15 years and then provide consulting support once this period expires, the company’s press-service reports. AEX.ru

Taking into account the experience of Lufthansa Consulting, the developed strategy should bring out the airport’s full potential. The experts will analyze its market opportunities, carry out the technical assessment and provide a development forecast for the next 15 years. Consultants will define the preferable trends, specify the ways of achieving the goals and necessary improvements of its infrastructure. After a short period of time (about 4 months) the airport’s administration will have a complete picture of preferable markets for short and long term prospects, practical steps necessary for obtaining gains and estimated level of costs.

Ulan-Ude-based Baikal airport located in the southern part of Eastern Siberia was acquired by Metropol Group in May 2011 in the network of development of the region’s transfer infrastructure.
