Sukhoi Civil Aircraft (SCAC) has delivered the 9th Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft (serial number 95017) to Aeroflot – Russian Airlines, press-service of SCAC reports. AEX.ru

“After completion of ground and flight checks in accordance with the Program of Technical Acceptance, SCAC and Aeroflot have signed the aircraft acceptance certificate of the 9th Sukhoi Superjet 100 in the carrier’s fleet in Ulyanovsk on July 28th 2012. The liner has been named after outstanding Soviet pilot Vasily Borisov, and received the tail number: RA-89009”, - SCAC explained.

In accordance with the document, signed by the parties, the jet is handed over to Aeroflot with a full set of operational documentation and flight kit. The liner corresponds to the claimed aircraft performance; it is functioning properly and is ready for flight operation and performance of flights on domestic and international destinations in accordance with Aeroflot’s schedule.

SSJ100 МSN 95017 will perform its ferry flight from Komsomolsk-on-Amur to Moscow (Sheremetyevo) on August 2nd.

“The delivery of the 10th aircraft is an important milestone for our company and our partners in the network of Sukhoi SuperJet 100 program. We are glad that this anniversary jet was delivered to Aeroflot.
