Russian Helicopters Holding Company, the subsidiary of Oboronprom Corporation, one of the global leading developers and manufacturers of helicopters, including a number of the most popular and wide-spread models, will be taking part in the Farnborough International Airshow from June 9th to June 15th 2012. The company will present some new civil models at Farnborough, including the new medium multi-role Ka-62 helicopter presented for the first time at the global market, the latest version of one of the world’s most popular members of Mi-8/17 Family – the upgraded Mi-171A2 helicopter, and the light multi-role Ansat helicopter. Russian Helicopters will also tell about the development of its post-sales service system in the network of the full-cycle offering.

The first Farnborough Airshow was held in 1948. It takes place every two years. Over 1,400 companies, 70 delegations from 44 countries, 152 aircraft on flying and static display have been taking part in the show. The total amount of the contracts signed during the show was $47 billion. Over 1,500 exhibitors from more than 40 counties should participate in Farnborough 2012.
