Sheremetyevo proved the conformity of security level to the requirements of American and international standards

The verification of security level and security arrangements implemented during organization of flights to USA has taken part at the Sheremetyevo international airport. AEX.ru

The control activities were carried out in compliance with the “Memorandum of understanding between RF Ministry of Transport and USA Transportation Security Administration (TSA) on cooperation in the area of safety of civil aviation".

The experts from TSA, Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya), Federal Agency for Transport Supervision (Rostransnadzor) and representatives of Sheremetyevo airport have inspected the airport’s infrastructure facilities, taken a look at the preflight inspection procedures and the system for provision of safety measures on flights to USA performed by Aeroflot, Delta Airlines and AirBridgeCargo from Sheremetyevo airport.

Following the results of the inspection, the commission stated that security arrangements carried out by the carriers, who perform flights to USA from Sheremetyevo airport, meet all the requirements of international standards including those set by the Transportation Security Administration.
