On July 9th, the opening day of Farnborough International Airshow, Ilyushin Finance & Co leasing company and Aircraft Industries (Czech Republic) have signed an agreement of intent in the network of the show on delivery of 10 L-410 UVP E-20 aircraft manufactured by Aircraft Industries (Czech Republic) with an option on three more vehicles. The 10 turboprops will be purchased in 2013 – 2014 and the option may be exercised in 2015. AEX.ru

L-410 UVP E-20 isalightregionalturbopropintendedforupto 19 passengers. It is able to use both unprepared and hard-surface runways. The cabin of the aircraft may have passenger, cargo, passenger-cargo, VIP and medevac configuration. It is a low-maintenance vehicle with optimum fuel consumption, which is very important for regional airlines performing flights on socially important routes.

The amount of this contract exceeds $80 million.

The aircraft will be delivered to Russian airlines under conditions of financial and operational leasing.
