Aeroflot – Russian Airlines leaves open the possibility of acquiring Kuban Airlines (forming part of Basic Element’s aviation sector) and awaits the decision of Krasnodar-based carrier’s shareholders, Interfax reports.

"We are considering this possibility, but we have no decision yet. We have formulated our proposals and if they are accepted then we would consider the acquisition of this carrier", - Vitaly Savelyev, CEO of Aeroflot, said.
