The meeting of Directors of Aeroflot decided to allocate $60,35 million for payment of dividends for 2011

The annual meeting of shareholders of Aeroflot – Russian Airlines has taken place on June 25th 2012, the company’s press-service reports. AEX.ru

The annual meeting of shareholders of Aeroflot – Russian Airlines approved the annual report, annual accounting reports, including report on profit and loss, and approved the recommendation of the Board of Directors on distribution of net profit. According to the decision of audit commission the company’s annual accounting reports and data specified in the Aeroflot’s annual report for 2011 are admitted to be accurate. The meeting has also approved the new membership of the audit commission. BDO has been chosen as Aeroflot’s auditor for 2012 after passing the competitive selection.

The meeting has taken a decision to allocate  $60,35 million (2 billion rubles) from the company’s net profit (19.2% of Aeroflot’s net profit in 2011) for payment of dividends following the results of 2011 financial year. The dividends will be paid at the rate of 1,8081 rubles per share (+66% as compared to 2010). Dividends will be paid during a period from June 26th to August 24th 2012.

The new Board of Directors is formed by 11 members:

Alexashenko Sergey Vladimirovich - Director for Macroeconomic Research of Higher School of Economics National Research University;
Androsov Kirill Gennadievich – Member of the Board of Directors of Altera Capital Management AG;
Germanovich Alexey Andreevich -  Public Projects Director at the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo;

Kogan Igor Vladimirovich – Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of “Mezhbankovskaya Raschetnaya Gruppa” non-commercial partnership;
Lozhevsky Igor Arnoldovich – CEO of Deutsche Bank;
Navalny Alexey Anatolievich – lawyer of Moscow “Mezhregion” college of lawyers;
Nikitin Gleb Sergeevich – Deputy Director of State Property Committee;
Savelyev Vitaly Gennadievich – CEO of Aeroflot;
Saprykin Dmitry Petrovich – Deputy Director General of Aeroflot on law and property matters;
Tikhonov Alexander Vasilievich – Director of division of the Russian Ministry of Transport;
Chemezov Sergey Viktorovich – CEO of Russian Technologies State Corporation.
