United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) will present Yak-130, SSJ-100 and MS-21 aircraft at Farnborough International Airshow 2012. The corporation will be taking part in the airshow on July 9-15, RIA Novosti reports.
The visitors will be able to see the mockups of SSJ-100, MS-21 and Be-200 aircraft in the civil aviation section.
The mockups of both engines intended for MS-21 aircraft: PD-14 developed by United Engine Corporation and PurePower by Pratt&Whitney will be demonstrated at MS-21 pavilion. The composite outer wing panel, landing gear leg’s mockup and chairs of the advanced aircraft will also be demonstrated.
Su-35 aircraft equipped with Irbis radar, Su-32 (export version of Su-34), MiG-35 and new Yak-130 operational trainer will be presented in the military aviation section.
Yak-130 aircraft developed by Yakovlev design bureau will be taking part in the demonstration flights of the international airshow for the first time. After Farnborough Yak-130 will start performing demonstration flights for potential customers. In 2013-14 the jet will be presented at the airshows in Dubai, Singapore and Chile.
Other Russian vehicles will also be represented in different ways at the UAC’s stand, including Il-76MD-90A military transport aircraft, upgraded medium-haul Tu-204SM passenger aircraft and fifth-generation fighter PAK FA.
Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) is one of the largest platforms for demonstration of vehicles made by aerospace industry. The show is organized by Farnborough International Limited, division of Society of British Aerospace Companies, SBAC. FIA is taking place every two years at the territory of Farnborough airport in Hampshire (suburbs of London). Civil and military aircraft are demonstrated to the potential customers and investors. Russia (USSR) has been taking part in the airshow since 1984.
