Aeroflot – Russian Airlines has recorded a significant increase of its net profit in the first quarter of 2012. Aeroflot’s net profit in this period was $37 813 041.2  dollars (1 115 791 thousand rubles) / + $50 215 534.1 dollars (1 481 765 thousand rubles) or 404,88% as compared to the results of the fourth quarter of 2011/, the airline’s press-service reports. The company believes that it is a significant factor, which may influence the cost of its equity securities.

"The increase of Aeroflot’s net profit is the result of hard work of all the airline’s employees aimed at increasing the efficiency of the Russia’s leading airline and implementation of innovations in all the fields of its activity", - the airline noted.
