AeroSvit has acquired the second Boeing 737-800

In the network of AeroSvit’s fleet renewal program, the carrier has acquired second Boeing 737-800 aircraft in accordance with the delivery schedule announced in March 2012, the airline’s press-service reports. AEX.ru

The jet has arrived from Boeing’s site located in Seattle to Kiev airport on May 27th. The commercial operation of the jet will be started in early June.

"It is the second of 11 ordered Boeing 737-800s. Aerosvit’s order is one of the largest ones in Ukraine. The delivery period is – 2012-2016. All the 11 Next Generation 737 aircraft will be acquired by AeroSvit under conditions of operational leasing", - the airline explained.

The first Boeing 737-800 Next Generation delivered to AeroSvit arrived in Kiev on March 31st 2012. The delivery of the second one was scheduled for the second quarter of 2012.

Both Boeing 737-800s have the same variants of cabin configuration: 174 seats in two-class configuration and 180 ones – in single-class configuration.

According to the options of AeroSvit’s order, all the delivered Next-Generation 737 aircraft are equipped with brand-new Boeing Sky Interior cabin, which provides unmatched comforts for the passengers, the carrier explained.
