S7 Airlines, the member of oneworld® alliance, prepared a present for the citizens of Novosibirsk in honor of the airline’s 20th birthday – the public garden in the center of the city. The presentation of this project was held on Saturday during the event dedicated to the company’s anniversary, press-service of S7 reports. AEX.ru

«The development of Siberia Airlines is inseparably associated with Novosibirsk. The history of airline, which has worked its way up from small regional carrier to the world-known S7 Airlines brand, originated here. As you may know, we like the green color. That is why we have decided to make a “green” present to Novosibirsk in this anniversary year - the public garden in the center of the city. It is the joint project of S7 Airlines, Mayor’s Office and the administration of Novosibirsk Region», - said CEO of S7 Airlines, Vladimir Obyedkov.

In token of readiness to start the work, the airline has handed over a memorial tablet to the city with the conceptual layout of the future garden. The garden would be located in the very center of the city – at the intersection of Ordzhonikidze and Sovetskaya streets. The garden’s concept assumes presence of promenade walkways and a bucket of green plantings. The Mayor’s Office will install a fountain in the center of the garden.

The partners of S7 Airlines will take part in creation of the public garden (the world’s largest airframers – Airbus and Boeing, along with Alfa-Bank). The companies will install the modern art-objects in the garden, the airline noted.
