Irkut Corporation has published its financial accounting for 2011 prepared in accordance with IFRS, the company’s press-service reports. AEX.ru

“Following the results of 2011, Irkut Corporation secured the record-breaking profit of $123 443 thousand (+44% as compared to 2010; the corporation’s net profit in 2010 was $85 546 thousand). Net profit profitability was 8% (as compared to 5% in 2010)”, - Irkut noted.

Irkut Corporation’s revenues for 2011 were $1 626 028 thousand, which is almost the same as compared to the last year.
The operating profit was $203 100 thousand (as against $161 753 thousand in 2010). The operating profit profitability was 12% in 2011, which is the high result in the context of world aircraft industry, the corporation noted.

“The Corporation’s high level of profitability was the result of administrative flexibility, implementation of innovative technologies, decrease of operating costs and usage of Lean-production methods, the company’s representative noted. Among the factors, which influenced the corporation’s results are the first deliveries of Yak-130 operational trainers. The positive results and expansion of order backlog, successful development of the main programs – Su-30, Yak-130 and МС-21 – testify to the stable positions of Irkut Corporation", - Irkut Corporation’s press-service noted.
