The flight development tests of protection system’s prototype intended for civil aircraft have been completed at Kazan Aviation Production Association named after S.P.Gorbunov site in April, press-service of Tupolev Company reports. AEX.ru

The provision of tests and mounting of the prototype onboard of Tu-214 have been carried out by the specialists of Tupolev Company. All the system’s basic technical specifications have been confirmed during testing.

The main contractor – NII Ekran, forwarded a letter of acknowledgement to the specialists of Tupolev in order to admit their contribution in the successful testing of the system.

«In conjunction with the successful completion of the testing, president of Tupolev, Alexander Bobryshev, has expressed his gratitude to the employees of the design bureau, Kazan branch of the design bureau and Zhukovsky Flight test and development base for their responsibility and professionalism», - Tupolev Company reports.
