Russian Helicopters Holding Company becomes official sponsor of Caterham F1 Team

Russian Helicopters Holding Company became the new official sponsor of Caterham F1 Team (Vitaly Petrov is one of the team’s pilots), Vzglyad.ru reports.

«We are officially announcing partnership with this team; we have signed framework agreement and we have a number of sponsor engagements», – said CEO of the holding, Dmitry Petrov.

He also added that Russian Helicopters logo will be painted on bolides and Vitaly Petrov’s uniform. «We will acquire the first kits from Italia and start the first real assembly in the next few days».

The pilot’s press-secretary, Oksana Kazachenko, told that the test races of F1 bolides will take place in Russian cities soon. A vast program for popularization of the motorsport with the participation of Vitaly Petrov will be taking place in the course of the season.

Russian Helicopters Holding Company became the second sponsor of Vitaly Petrov in 2012 season. The first company, which agreed to sponsor the racer, was Sibur petrochemical company.
