Gromov Flight Research Institute will be merged in United Aircraft Corporation

During the last meeting in absentia, the Board of Directors of United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has defined the price of 100% of shares of Gromov Flight Research Institute contributed to the registered capital of UAC in accordance with the Edict of the President of Russian Federation from February 20th 2008 № 217 «About National center of aircraft industry», press-service of UAC reports. The assessment was carried out by independent valuator – Grant Thornton Russia. According to the valuator’s report, the market value of 100% of shares of Gromov Flight Research Institute is 589 408 000 rubles.

"The Board of Directors of UAC has also considered and approved several interested party transactions aimed at financing current activities, technical re-equipping of corporation’s subsidiaries and performance of work in the network of MC-21 project, including development of aircraft furnishings architecture and the most efficient technologies for manufacturing of composite wing’s components", - said in the UAC’s statement.

This is the 200th aircraft of this type produced by the United Aircraft Corporation and the first SSJ leased to the airline from PSB Leasing. The term of the contract is 20 years. For the aircraft, an inverse version of the airline's livery was chosen (not the standard white and red, but red and white). Now the airline's fleet has 2 aircraft painted in such manner, the second one is A320.
