The state commission has approved the line-up of Soyuz-TMA-04M spacecraft’s crew

A meeting of the state commission was held at the Baikonur’s site number 17 in Yu. A. Gagarin State Scientific Research-and-Testing Cosmonaut Training Center by the head of Federal Space Agency, V.A. Popovkin. The preparation for the flight of the main and backup crews of Soyuz TMA-04M spacecraft was summarized at the meeting, press-service of the Federal Space Agency reports. AEX.ru

Having heard the reports on the results of preparation, the state commission has approved the following line-up of the crews.

Main crew:
Padalka Gennady Ivanovich – commander of Soyuz-TMA-04M (Roscosmos);
Revin Sergey Nikolaevich – onboard engineer-1 of Soyuz-TMA-04M (Roscosmos);
Akaba Joseph – onboard engineer-2 of Soyuz-TMA-04M (NASA).

Backup crew:
Novitsky Oleg Viktorovich - commander of Soyuz-TMA-04M (Roscosmos);
Tarelkin Evgeny Igorevich - onboard engineer-1 of Soyuz-TMA-04M (Roscosmos);
Ford Kevin - onboard engineer-2 of Soyuz-TMA-04M (NASA).

The launch of Soyuz-FG space rocket with Soyuz-TMA-04M manned cargo spacecraft to the ISS is scheduled for 07:01 Moscow time, May 15th, the agency noted.
