Russian Helicopters Holding Company, forming part of Oboronprom Corporation, and Kazakhstan Engineering National Company have signed Memorandum of Understanding in the network of Kadex-2012 exhibition. The MoU assumes cooperation in the area of expansion of MRO services for Russian helicopters in Kazakhstan, press-service of Russian Helicopters reports. AEX.ru

The signing of MoU is the important step in development of relations between Russia and Kazakhstan within the framework of aircraft industry.

«We believe that it is important to create the effective support system for operation of Russian helicopters in Kazakhstan, which should meet all the requirements of state and commercial operators, - Deputy Director General of Russian Helicopters, Igor Pshenichny, said. – We hope that our partnership with Kazakhstan Engineering will help strengthen the positions of Russian helicopters in Kazakhstan and Central Asia».

"Russian helicopters are popular at Kazakh market and they are operated on behalf of state structures. Now commercial operators of Kazakhstan are taking interest in these vehicles too", - the company noted.
