Siberia Airlines celebrated its 20th anniversary on May 6th 2012, the airline’s press-service reports. AEX.ru

Siberia Airlines state enterprise, established on the basis of Tolmachevo United Air Group, which has a longstanding history, was registered on May 6th 1992. The first regular flight from the joint aerodrome located in Novosibirsk Region and forming part of Tolmachevo United Air Group was performed in 1957.

We are proud of our advanced and reliable fleet, which is one of the youngest ones in Russia», - CEO of S7 Airlines, Vladimir Obyedkov, noted.

"S7 Airlines has joined the oneworld global alliance in 2010. Its participation in the alliance confirms that the level of personnel qualification, safety standards and services offered by the airline matches the level of industry’s leaders. S7 Airlines in cooperation with the members of oneworld offers its passengers the largest route network including 800 airports in 150 countries of the world", - the airline noted.

"S7 Airlines has the Frequent Flyer Program – S7 Priority, which allows collecting miles using the services of oneworld members and then spending the collected miles on flights with S7 and other oneworld airlines. The status members of the program gain access to 550 lounges all over the world. S7 Airlines is the leader in provision of on-line passenger services at the Russian market. S7 was the first Russian airline to launch the system for selling tickets using its own website in early 2005 and then it started using e-ticket technology in 2007. The airline offers on-line services allowing passengers to check in for flights, “mobile boarding pass” service, mobile website and special application for iPhone, the carrier’s press-service stated.

S7 Airlines operates only Airbus and Boeing aircraft. The airline’s fleet includes 46 jets: 20 Airbus A319s, 13 Airbus A320s, one Airbus A310, two long-haul Boeing 767-300s, four Boeing 737-400s and six Boeing 737-800NGs. The airline will acquire two more new Airbus A320 aircraft in May directly from the manufacturer.
