Russian Helicopters, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of helicopters, including some of the most popular and innovative models, has unveiled its operating and audited financial results for 2011 in accordance with IFRS. AEX.ru
CEO of Russian Helicopters, Dmitry Petrov, said: «I am glad to unveil the impressive results of the Company’s activities in 2011, which confirmed our ability to accomplish the identified goals and perform obligations to our shareholders, partners and the market. The company continues its active development and demonstrates impressive growth dynamics. Last year we consolidated the leading positions in the world helicopter industry. We have delivered 262 vehicles to the customers in 19 countries of the world in 2011, increasing the deliveries by 22,4%. Thus we have 14% of the global market in monetary terms. In addition we have managed to double the firm order backlog, which has reached 859 helicopters and its value was over 330 billion rubles as of the end of 2011. We intend to further strengthen our position at the global market by increasing the competitive ability and operating efficiency. And we will do our best to increase the company’s shareholder value".

"The company’s consolidated proceeds were 103.9 billion rubles in 2011 (+27,8%). The growth is connected with increase of helicopter deliveries (+22,4%). The sales revenues were 82,0 billion rubles. The service and post-sales support revenues were 15,0 billion rubles in 2011. The prime cost of the company’s products and services was 63,3 billion rubles in 2011 (+29,2% as compared to 2010). The operating costs have increased by 23,3% to 25,9 billion rubles. EBITDA was 18 billion rubles in 2011 (+31,7%). At that EBITDA in the helicopter sales segment was 14,3 billion; in the service and post-sales support segment – 3,5 billion. The company’s profit was 7 billion rubles in 2011 (+12,7% as compared to 2010)", - press-service of Russian Helicopters noted.
The company’s capital investment have increased by 90,3% to 13,7 billion rubles. The amount of investments into production capacities was 9,1 billion rubles (+65,5% as compared to 2010). The company’s expenses for research-and-development activities were 4,6 billion rubles in 2011 (2.7 times higher as compared to 2010), confirming the active implementation of the company’s strategy on development of innovative capacity. The bulk of research-and-development activities has been performed in the network of Ка-226/226Т, Мi-38, Ка-62, Мi-171А2 and Advanced high-speed helicopter projects in 2011, the company noted.
262 helicopters have been delivered in 2011 (+48 vehicles of +22,4%). The company has delivered 9 types of helicopters to the customers from 19 countries of the world in 2011.
